The Walk to End Domestic Violence

The Arizona Foundation for Women’s 6th annual Walk to End Domestic Violence was held in downtown Phoenix on Saturday, April 19th. Close to 4000 walkers turned out to show their support for local domestic violence programs and to demonstrate their commitment to ending domestic violence.

Media and Polygamy Meeting

There has been much media attention regarding the FLDS community and the issues associated with underage marriage, child bigamy, and child abuse. The Arizona Coalition Against Domestic Violence has joined Arizona’s efforts to address issues of domestic violence in the polygamous community of Colorado City.

Native American Collaborations

In a concerted effort to serve under-represented communities, the Arizona Coalition Against Domestic Violence has
recently begun collaboration efforts with Arizona tribes located
throughout the state.
