Life's New Beginnings is a non-profit organization established for the sole purpose of increasing public awareness of Domestic Violence and how it affects all of us.

Our Mission, Philosophy, and Purpose

About Us > About Our Logo

Our Mission Statement
Life's New Beginnings promotes the principle that all people have the right to live a life free of oppression, abuse and violence and will use its resources to advance public awareness of domestic violence in our communities, our businesses, our churches and our government.

Life's New Beginnings Philosophy and Purpose
We believe that our homes and workplaces must be places where all women should feel safe and secure and domestic violence or abuse must not be tolerated in either place.
We are committed to changing public opinions and attitudes toward domestic violence, by helping all individuals, communities and businesses understand that domestic violence is not a "personal family matter".
We understand that domestic violence affects not only the victims and the abusers, but also our social, economic, and political systems.
We believe that domestic violence against women and children will only end when all states, cities, and communities join together in a clear voice and demand change.

Principles That Guide Us
  • Condoning domestic violence is against every ethical and moral principle and against every Christian belief which allows this great nation to remain free.
  • It is the abuser, not the victim, who is responsible and accountable for domestic violence against women and children.
  • Unremedied domestic violence essentially denies women equality before the law and reinforces their subordinate social status.
  • Women and their children are entitled to a safe environment free from violence and the threat of violence.
  • Men use domestic violence to diminish a woman’s sense of self-worth.
  • States that fail to prevent and prosecute domestic violence send a clear message to all women that the violence against them is of no concern to society.
  • We are committed to promoting public awareness and demanding changes necessary to end domestic violence against women and children.
